Heap of Katcoms.

Here we have a group of new KATCOMs in 1953, ready to be collected from a rear echelon. Three lads from the Durham Light Infantry and one Australian are with them to take their quota. Most of these young fellows were rounded up in the draft by the Korean military and probably wondered what was about to befall them! Actually they were better looked after with our units, than had they gone to a ROK division. |
